About the pieces:
"Whole" by Jes Mendoza avoids cliche while searching for ‘wholeness’.
"Teeth Eyes" by me turns body-horror into performance art.
"A Life I Never Had" by Sabrina Krejci depicts a woman outside of her life looking in. Be sure to read her interview included in the collection which deepens the picture.
"Dead Men" by Shelby Greene hits hard with just a few lines.
"A Price for His Peace" by Icarus Lapyx is a poem that conveys true, rich anger.
"Duck Girl" by Emma Guest is funny and light, balancing out some of the darker material in the collection.
"The Viking's Tale" by Danum Skald presents a story in rhyme. I recommend following up with his included interview as well to get a full sense of the artist.
